If our approach and attitude is good and straight, the nature will never cheat us. The health of the plant is the health of the soil. It is the microbes that make soil healthy and the most fertile soil is forest soil. organic matters are found in dense forest soil. The decayed parts of the plants and secretions of animals make the soil fertile.
There are no pests in real agriculture. Only insects. When the number of insects increase it becomes pests. Pests increase because its natural enemy is being killed by men. Actually men are responsible for increasing the pests. Sometimes these insects may be very much helpful. There are no enemies to be eliminated from agriculture. It is here we have to approach with patience and generosity. Although a thousand diseases attack plants in the fields and forests, nature strikes a balance; there never was any need for pesticides.
Have you ever thought how big trees are growing in the place near equator? The plants get most of the food needed for it from the atmosphere. In a dried particle of plant 44% is carbon and another 44% is oxygen and 6% is hydrogen. A plant gets oxygen and carbon from carbon dioxide. It is turned to sugar by the process of photosynthesis. We don’t have to do anything to create carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. It is created naturally. There is no problem in growing trees till the time sun shines and human breaths.
